Assistant Theater Technical Coordinator

We’re looking for a skilled and collaborative theatre technician to help bring productions at the Moonlight Amphitheatre and the AVO Playhouse to life. In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with the Theater Technical Coordinator to support the technical needs of our musicals, concerts, special events, and rental productions.

You’ll help lead and mentor our stage crews, supporting everything from audio, lighting, video, and special effects to rigging, hair & makeup, and scenic elements. You’ll be hands-on throughout the production process—attending tech and dress rehearsals, preparing and interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all equipment and production elements are installed and operated safely.

This position also plays a key role in organizing load-ins and load-outs, coordinating scenery rentals and trucking, maintaining production inventories, and supporting the technical needs of visiting companies and rental clients. VisTix Sales Agent

Join the team that helps bring audiences to the Moonlight Amphitheatre! The VisTix Sales Agent supports the Ticket Office Supervisor by selling tickets for shows at the Moonlight Amphitheatre and AVO Playhouse. Key duties include processing ticket sales and subscriptions, distributing will call tickets, handling cash and credit transactions, preparing daily sales reports, and providing friendly, informed customer service to patrons. The position also assists at onsite box offices during performances and ensures house policies are followed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with the public, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong attention to detail.
