The role of Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF has been pre-cast.
PLEASE NOTE:
Minimum age to audition: 16 years.
(You may audition if you are 15 years old and will turn 16 by May 17; please bring valid ID).
Appointments can be booked in two ways

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR YOUR AUDITION:
Non-Equity Actors: prepare a 45-second vocal audition
Equity Actors: prepare a 1 to 2-minute vocal audition
What to bring:
- Five resumes and five non-returnable headshots
- Completed audition forms. You should have ONE long sheet and five 1/2 sheets. See below to complete your audition forms online.
- Sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
- No tape recorders may be used.
- No "a capella" singing

The Moonlight’s 2012 Summer Season is presented in the 2000-person capacity, open-air Moonlight Amphitheatre. Each production involves approximately a five-week rehearsal period with three weeks of performance, (first and second weeks: Wed-Sun performances, third week: Thu-Sat performances).
Auditioners may choose to audition for all shows or selected productions.
The Amphitheatre is located about 60 minutes north of San Diego, two hours south of Los Angeles, and an hour south of Orange County cities.
All non-Equity performers will be hired as employees of the City of Vista during rehearsals and performances. Non-union pay ranges from $400 to $1,700 depending on the role.
Note: Those hired will be required to complete a City of Vista hiring packet and attend a mandatory orientation prior to the first rehearsal in the City of Vista at a date yet to be determined.
The City of Vista is currently in negotiations with the Actors Equity Association on the upcoming summer season contract. Past summer season negotiated contract included two contracts per show, plus two floating actor contracts. All Equity auditioners must show their current A.E.A. membership card.
CHILDREN’S AUDITIONS
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
PLEASE NOTE:
Moonlight will see girls & boys between the ages of eight and fifteen years old for roles in FIDDLER.
Please refer to the Fiddler information sheet above for children’s roles.
Actors under the age of 16 will perform on a volunteer basis.
